March 31 spring has sprung even though we had a snow fall of less then an inch of snow a few days ago. spring is around the corner. the weather here has been warm. the mornings have been cool some. but nice.soon enough i'll be able to plant flowers.. and enjoy setting outside. March 19 spring is around the corner it's finally starting to get nice outside. were cominig off a burtial winter. the temps this week have really been warm. i'll be glad .with the expection of today whereit was cold. i'll be glad soon enough to plant flowers. do some yard work. also go swiiming.and bbq. i can't wit to take my grandson brett out for walks.. when we watch hm at my parents house. he has a big yard to play in. March 15 spring i think that spring might be on it's way. ther weather today was really warm. with the expection of this monring. it was cold. it turned out to be a nice warm day. i think byt next month i should be able to plant flowers. b rett sttod up on his own yesterdsaY FOR ABOUT TWENTY SECONDS. March 04 still braving the cold/ springtimewere still braving the cold here. it's been really cold the las two weeks. artic temps once again.
i'll be glads to see the wamrwe weather come so that i can plant flowers and enjoy the outside some.i can't wait for spring. February 21 getting hit with another snow strom & brfett update. we got hit withanother snow strom. it dumped between 5& 6 inches of snow,not bad considering they had said more. now it'll be cold the rest of the week. i'll be glad when it warms up so that i can plaANT FLOWERS.IT'S BEEN SUCH A HARD BURTIAL WINTER. but i know it's going to be a hot spring and summer. This week were also getting the rooms reday at work for the fisherman that will be coming in april 4th. that will be are busy month along with may .actually april is the beginning of our busy season Brett is now eight and a halt monthsold, he's not wealking yet.his legs aren't strong enough. but if you hold his hands that way he'll take right off, he does say some words. hi, by, love you, dada, mum .he's quite a handful but worth it most definently.. February 14 happy valentines daywishinng everyone a happy valentines day. i think were getting one last round of cold weather. February 07 michaels first birthday and warm weather.we just got back form my great grandsons first birthday party it was nice . he received clothes, money and toys. the food was really good. there was pizzia and the of course cake. all of the food was delicious. michael did start to fall asleep. it felt good to see the whole family. my kids and my graaandkids and my great grandkids mean the world to me.
the weather here is finally starting to warm up here. it got inot the ffifty's today and it suppose to reach that again tomrrow. maybe the warm weather is finally on it's way hopefully spring. then i coould plant some flowers. try and get ready for spring.
this week will be a hard week at work . the next twqo weeks i have no time off plus i watch my grandson brett .and he's a handful.
were going to start to get the room's back up for the fisherman. that will take some time. they have been closeed all winter . so dusting them and making sure that all the nmaintance is kept up in them. are busy season is just around the corner, the first group of fisherman come in april 4th there here for one week, then that same group along with another small group allso comes inon april 18th that group will be here until the 26th. then after them are caaanadian people come in for the memorial day weekend. and they march in parades that weekend. then thyey leave on monday. February 04 another cold spell.this should be the last cold spell that we get. tonight and tomrrow night is suppose to be extermley cold. minus 23 degress and the tomrrow minus2. i hope this is the last cold speel that we have. they say it's suppose to warm up over the weekend. witch will really be nice. i can't wait for it to be warm. i know that in about three weeks it will start to warm up. then i can start to plant flowers. can't wait January 25 still cold great grandaughter.it's cold here the temps here are stiill cold. once again it's in the artic temps. today minus one degree. it 's been really cold. it's at the point where we have to leave water run at night. so that it don't freeze up. this is suppose to be the last cold blast that we have. this weekend was the ice festival out in canton. i was going to go but because ihad to work all weekend i didn't get to go. it was a nicew weekend for it.
my grandaughter sarah had a baby girl monday mroning she weighted sevedn pounds nine oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. that's her first.
i'llk be glad to see it warm up again. January 21 our new presidenthopfully with a new staff and a new president thigns in time will get better. i did watch the ingration it was awsesome. i al;so watched the celebraqtion the night before. witch i really enjoyed. i'm hoping that with a new president and a new staff. that soon thing will start to get better.i know that it will takwe sefrveral months for that to happen. it wouldn't happen overnight. as long as we get some jobs in michigan. right now so many people our laid off. because of jobs closures or no work.
Our unemployment raid here is so high. i work at a hotel and it's been struggling for the last six months. i hope things get better soon. because right now it would hard for me to try and get a better paying job with no one hiring. January 16 braving the coldthe temps have been dangerouly cold here. today was a minus 33 degrees. they had schools closed here. it would be to dangeriouys for kids to stand out in this kind of weather for the school buses. they would either wand up with frosr bite or hypedormia.
i had to go to my daughters alot this week to watch brett. each and everydasy was extermaily cold. they didn't take him out in this weather at all. witch is good. he's just getting overt being sick.
we have a foot and a half of snow that has fallen with in the las three day's. it's made it bad for driving to and from. there salting the roads but it's not taking effect because it's so cold outside. so it make's it for catious driving for when your coming home. it been a really rough week. hopefully next week it'll warm up some.
hopefully by monday the kids won't have to wait out in a deep freezing cold.
tomrrow i have to work so i'll be the ne outside braving the cold.

January 10 really bad winter stromit's benn snowing since early this morning or late last night. we have about a foot of snow. and it doesn'
t look much like it going to sto tonight. i had to go out in it today to go it work and it was loousy driving. the roads weren't salted andnot plowed. there would really be no use it's still snowing out. the las two feet of snow we had melted last week. now if you look outside all you see it plies of snow. at least the ski resorts are making money this winteer. it's been years since i have been skiing. i don't think right now i would trey at my age toski. i wouldn't want to break any bones. were going to have really clod temps starting tomrrow.
bretts been crawling for almost a month. and during that time he's been pulling himself up to walk. he does walk with help from grandma. December 28 pretty soon it will be the beginning of a new year.has the old year comes to a close it's been a good one ofr me with the birth of my grandson brett and my great grandson micheal .it made my year. fist of all brett is crawling has been for two weeks. he's starting to pull himself up. if youy hold his hands he does walk. my parents for christmas got him a walker. he seems to likie it. he's growing so fast. he's six and a half onths old. he's smile a great big smile that lights up a room. he say's hi and love you. he also pokes at your eyes and mouth. that's just him being a boy. he's worth eveery poke and hair pull. but it's woirth it.
my great grandson micheal is almost eleven months old .hard to beleieve. he's walking. i'm sure he's talking. i haven't seen him in about eight months. i love him to. i'm very thankful for both of the boy's being born this year. it's been an excciting year. one i'll never forget.
i think this yeafr will be even more exciting than las. my grandaughter sarah will be delivering a boy into the world on january 25th 2009. so it's going to be a good year to.
hopefully this next year work will be better. right now it's been so slow. i know that in april it will start to get busy.

tomrrow will be a great day. will get together at my parents house and have ham. mashed potatoes, yams salad with various salad dressing, corn and rolls and green beans. for dessert they'll be plenty of apple pie peach pie pumpkin pie, choclate chip cookies, fudge. then after we eat will set down and open presents and then visit for awhile then come home. December 19 the snow strom hit.the snow strom really blew into to town. i packed a really bad punch. we got a foot and a half of snow, it's still snowing out. alot of school closings today. now we have to dig out from the strom. and that's alot of snow. were suppose to get hit with another snowstrom on sunday night and then again on chhristmas eve. so that's alot of snow for us.
i called work this morning my boss told me not to come in becauhe strom and the fact that they only rented out one room. so i might have to work tomrrow.
thjere's enough snow now for the kids to go selding and make snowman. the snow right now is beautiful but it's really cold out there.or to go skiing if the roads are clear. December 18 two snow stroms almost in a row.we had a snow strom that dumped four and a half inches of snow ealier this week. it didn't close any schools. so to night afteer midnight were sujppose to get hit with yet another snow strom. that suppose to close schools tomrrow, it's been broad casted all day. so they think that it's goimg to hit. the warning until four o'clock tomrrow afternoon.
went christmas shopping today. the stores were crowed. but i'm done christmas shopping.
got to see brett today to. he's smiling just has much or more. he always has fun poking my eyes aand moth. then he likes it when i make the funny noises. he say's love you ahd hi. he makes my day..i really miss him when i don't see him. he's growing so big. he's now six and a half months old. he's growing so fast. he enjkoyed the trip into the toys rus. he like looking at all of the toys.
i worked the other day out in the snow after we had the strom . it wasn't that bad, the guy that came and cleared the side walks and parking lot did and excellent job. December 13 chrrrrristmaschristmas isa time for sharing with the family. have a good dinneer and opening your christmas gifts with everybody being there.

almost done with christmas shopping. December 02 heather's birthday and brett up date.heather turned 26 yesterday. sshe recived alot of niice gifts, her finace tony took her out for dinneer last night.
brett is now six and a half moonths almsot seven months on the 13th of this month. he's tryying to crawl. he gets up on all fours. but falls down or rolls over. he smiles a great big smile that lights up aroom. he say's hi and love you and trys to pull your hair. he's discoverd that he can scfream and grawl. he does both rather wall.
we had our first snow fall of the season it wasn't much. but were getting the real cold temps. tomrrow i'll have to go buy some rock salt. November 27 thanksgivingwe went to my aunts for thanksgiving dinner. it was good . we had tyrkey , ham, stuffing. grean bean cassroloe, mased potatoe, yams, salad, with various salad dressings, vegtable tray, pick tray, then for dessert, apple strouddle, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, and mints meat pie. and rolls. dinnere was really good.
all of my cousins were there. my gandson, and daughters, and of course my parents. everybody really love brett. he was the hit of the evening. of course heather and brett left they weere going to the tree lighting down at hines park in westland. so the baby could see the different color lights. this will be his first chrrrristmas.
he's very close to crawling.
My cousion traveer gruadates in june. then next fall he'll be going to wayne state university in detroit.
hope that all of you had a happy thanksgiving. November 22 cold waether.. brett, and christmas shoppuingwe have been getting coldweather for aboutr the last two weeks. we have had some snow. just a trace of snow, nothing to where schools are closed fo the day.
we have had more rain than anying. but now weree just getting the col temps.
we did have snow yesterdday but it was hardly nothing at all.
my dad and cousin dennis got back from deer huinting . they got no deer at all. all it did was rain while they were upp north. deer hunting. so they came back early.
update on brett. he's now five months old. he's trying to crawl. hasn't quite got there yet. he smiles a great big radiant smile. he say's hi and love you. his newest thing is grawling, and screaming. he love's doing both. he also pulls hair. he weights seventeen pounds. and is 26 1/2 inches long. i can't believe that he's growingthat fast. it don't seem like she had him five months ago.
with in the next week i'll start my christmas shopping. i know the stores will be crowed but i'll get it done.
